Certificates of appreciation were delivered recently to Wilco Printing, Mill Creek Environmental Engineering, and United Community BankRead more about these supporters of our shelter project.

Mr. and Mrs. William Durrett are thrilled with their portrait of "Jackson" by artist Mary Ann Cox Sheehy, who is donating a percentage of her commission to help with our shelter's fund raising efforts.

Kroger at the corner of Georgia 400 and Hwy 53 hosted our 4th annual yard sale and allowed us to spend the night there!

Aerosoles, at the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall, invited us for a fund-raising shoe party and split their profits with us.

We presented our heartfelt thanks and some Certificates of Appreciation to a number of our wonderful supporters, including Wild Birds Unlimited, Longhorn Steakhouse, PetSmart, and Peter Hill of HDA Architects.  We couldn't do it without your help!  Click here to read more about these awards.

October 27-28 - we had a lot of fun at the 40th annual Dawson County Mountain Moonshine Festival.  Pictures coming soon!
