Build it and they will come! This old saying has certainly come true for the new animal shelter. Since opening April 1, 2008 the shelter has taken in almost 2000 animals. The cost for operating the shelter at the level we have is approximately $26,000 per month. We are in desperate need of pledged monthly support. Please put the shelter in your budget and give what you can to help care for these homeless animals. No matter the size of the contribution it helps a great deal. For a $1,000 renewable annual contribution, you can sponsor one of the 150 spaces for our furry friends in need. As the shelter evolves physically and financially through the years, the Life Support Program will be flexible enough to change with the needs of the shelter. The Life Support Program can be the bedrock of financial stability for the animals. A plaque recognizing members of the Life Support Team will hang in the lobby of the shelter.
