Charles and Joyce Reid, owners of Country Boy Trailers, donated an 8' x 5' covered trailer to the Dawson County Humane Society.

The lettering and painting was donated by Motorsport Graphics. The trailer was delivered on Wednesday, April 19th, and will be used for storing and transporting of fundraising event materials and supplies.

Until now, Humane Society volunteers have stored these things in private homes and contended with loading and unloading the goods from private vehicles. The Reid's donation will relieve this burden from Society volunteers. It will also give us a traveling banner of the Humane Society's presence in the county.

Business owners like the Reids are stepping forward to help out as we approach the construction of Dawson County's first animal shelter. The Society is a 501-c-3, tax-exempt organization, so donations are tax-deductible.
